WHAT IS THE USA BMX 2012 BICYCLE MOTOCROSS SUMMIT?
For the first time in the history of BMX – track operators, volunteers, officials and riders alike from both the ABA and NBL will gather to celebrate the unification of the sport and combine the amazing experience of both organizations into one incredible educational event to be held in Louisville, Kentucky at the Marriott Downtown. The USA BMX 2012 Bicycle Motocross Summit gathers anyone interested in the great sport of BMX to learn more about USA BMX and how to run an exciting and successful BMX program. Participants are treated to outstanding educational seminars and learn how to run USA BMX races, big and small, as well as learn all the ins and outs of BMX racing.
The general sessions and the break out seminars will tackle beneficial and highly effective subjects like: marketing and promotions, capitalizing on the 2012 Olympics, officiating, USA BMX ranking programs, computer registration and more! You will also find out the latest technology on how to maintain and keep your track in good condition without as much physical work.
The Summit is the place to interact and share ideas with fellow passionate track operators, officials, volunteers and BMXers from tracks across North America. There will be knowledgeable speakers on hand, the USA BMX staff as well as special guest speakers that are sure to motivate all. Additionally, attendees will be treated to a welcome reception Thursday evening, lunch on Friday and Saturday, and wrap things up with an exciting closing party at Louisville’s 4th Street Live, walking distance from the host hotel. You do not want to miss this history making event!
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Anyone who loves the sport of BMX and wants to learn more about the programs of USA BMX and how to successfully run a BMX program, support their local track, officiate, etc. If you are already involved with your local track or just thinking about getting involved you will want to attend this very important event.
